Heat Game Recap: Heat @ Celtics 5/11

Heat defeat the Celtics 129-121. With this win Miami clinches playoff berth and also win the season series between the two so they now own the tiebreaker. Miami shot 59 percent from the field and 53 percent from behind the arc. Miami had a good shooting night. As for Boston they shot 52 percent from the field and 49 percent from behind the arc. Boston also had a good shooting night. Miami wins their 2nd in a row vs the Celtics.

For the Celtics Kemba Walker lead them with 36 points along with 7 rebounds. Jayson Tatum also had 33 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Evan Fournier had 20 points with 8 assists. Miami bench outscored Celtic’s bench 50-20. For the Heat Tyler Herro lead them with 24 points along with 21 points. Bam Adebayo and Duncan Robinson both had 22 points. Kendrick Nunn had 18 points and Goran Dragic had 17 points. Many Heat players stepped up after Jimmy Butler went out with an eye injury near the end of the second quarter. Miami opened up its lead to 21 at the start of the 4th quarter after Dragic made 3 straight threes but Heat settled down and held on at the end. Heat play 76ers, Bucks, and Pistons and need to win them all to ensure that they mantain the 4th seed. Celtics are one loss away from the play-in tournament.
